Real products in realtime.
We were tasked with creating three exhibits highlighting products in Reifenhäuser's Cast Sheet Coating and Blown Film product lines. We devised two kinds of terminals, one featuring a clickwheel and one based around a touchscreen.
Interaction patterns.
A click wheel mounted to the exhibit lets the user scroll through items.
A push of the click wheel lets users enter navigate in or out of items.
Beyond the surface.
To help communicate the intricacies of the production process, we employed an x ray aesthetic, making visible what's going on under cover.
The immersive x ray look allowes users to follow the materials every step of the way.
Animated content.
We produced a series of animated videos to augment the applications.
All animations were created based on original CAD data to accurately represent each process.
